Our first-class ACA training programme enables you to develop into a Chartered Accountant within one of the UK’s most forward-thinking and ambitious accountancy practices.
But it doesn’t stop there. Our approach to trainee recruitment focuses on long-term investment. We look for aspiring managers, directors and partners who will contribute to the growth and success of our business whilst developing their own rewarding careers.
This role will enable you to take full advantage of the hybrid working that we offer to all of our people. Whether you’re working from the office, from home or from a client site, we support our people to achieve the right balance of flexibility in line with delivering excellent client service.
Why join our team?
As a Audit Trainee, you will help investors and stakeholders to better understand the financial performance of their businesses. Working with a variety of clients– from SME’s and family-owned businesses through to large corporate and not-for-profit organisations, you will provide professional advice to add real value to their businesses.
You will be given early responsibility from day one and will have the opportunity to really understand how your client’s businesses operate and the challenges that they face, so having a strong commercial mindset is vital for this role.
Recognised as an ICAEW Partner in Learning, you will study for the ACA qualification as part of a Level 7 Apprenticeship, to help you develop the wide-ranging skills needed to become a talented business adviser. You will be supported to complete a wide range of professional and personal development throughout your apprenticeship, both remotely and face to face, to ensure that you have skills and knowledge that you need to aid your future career development.
But it's not all about work. Our trainees are all encouraged to make a wider contribution through business development activities and initiatives such as CSR, diversity and sports and social activities. This allows you to develop into both technical experts and the future leaders of our business.
We know this gives our business a refreshingly different, people-focussed culture. It is no coincidence then, that for five years running we've been ranked as a Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For.
